This tutorial will show you:
To get started, from the Parrish Library homepage, select the List of Business Databases on the left side of the page.
Then select eMarketer.
Note: If you experience issues with this Guide closing when you access the database you may need to open the Guide in a separate window.
What kind of information is available?
eMarketer includes daily research articles, analyst reports, and a database of e-business and online marketing statistics aggregated and analyzed from over 2,800 sources.
Database Interface
From the homepage you can browse by topic, industry, audience, or country, or complete a search.
Searching
Using the filters on the left, narrow your search results.
Next, limit the results in the demographics section by clicking “Age” and then selecting “Millennials.”
Note: If you find you’ve narrowed your results too much, click on the red “X” next to an item to remove that filter.
Results
Results can be sorted by “Best Match” or by “Date.”
Depending on the result type, you may have different export options, such as the options to export by email, PDF, JPEG, or Excel.
What have you learned?
Now you know how to access eMarketer, what kind of information is available, and how to do a search.
