This tutorial will cover how to access eMarketer, what kind of data is available, and how to do a search in eMarketer.
To begin, from the Parrish Library homepage, select the List of Business Databases on the left side of the page.
Then select eMarketer from the list of Parrish databases.
eMarketer includes daily research article, analyst reports, and a database of e-business and online marketing statistics aggregated and analyzed from over 2,800 sources.
You can browse by topic, industry, audience, or country.
You can also search using the search bar. Type "Facebook" in the search bar.
We can narrow our search results on the left. Click on "Geography", then select "North America" and choose "United States."
Next select "Within last 90 days" under publication date.
Then limit the results in the demographics section by clicking "Age" and then select "Millennials."
If you find you've narrowed your results too much, you can click on the red "x" next to an item to remove that filter.
Results can be sorted by "Best Match" or by "Date."
Click on one of the results to open it.
Depending on the result type you may have different export options, such as the option to export by email, pdf, jpg, or Excel.
Now you know how to access eMarketer, what kind of data is available, and how to do a search.
