To get started, from the Parrish Library homepage, select the List of Business Databases on the left side of the page.

Then select MarketResearch.com Academic.

Note: If you experience issues with this Guide closing when you access the database you may need to open the Guide in a separate window.

What kind of information is available?

MarketResearch.com Academic contains comprehensive full-text reports with broad range of coverage on markets, industries, and companies worldwide.

These reports provide raw data, but also include primary research and expert analysis including industry interviews, competitive analysis, market trends, product innovations, buyer behavior, and market share.

Database Interface

In the middle of the page you can browse by topics such as consumer goods and retailing, manufacturing and construction, and healthcare.

You also have the option to do a simple search by keyword, or set up an advanced search.

Simple Search

  • Type “wine” into the search box on the homepage.

Our search results indicate that there are about 11 reports found for the keyword “wine” in the last 5 years.

  • Click on the first result.

Results

Once you’ve selected a report, you’ll be able to see information such as the publisher, how many pages this report contains, the price, the abstract, and the table of contents.

Please note: The price is shown for information purposes only and you will not be charged for downloading.

Downloading A Report

  • Click the “Download Report” button to download this report.

Before the download begins, you’ll need to agree to the download. Once you’ve read the terms, click on the check mark to indicate that you agree to these terms to begin the download.

Once your report has finished downloading, you can click on the pdf to view the report, or you can close the pop up window using the close window button, or the x.

You should now be able access your report in PDF format from your computer’s downloads folder.
