This tutorial will show you:
To get started, from the Parrish Library homepage, select the List of Business Databases on the left side of the page.
Then select Small Business Resource Center.
What kind of information is available?
Small Business Resource Center is a portal for entrepreneurs containing business plans, entrepreneurial articles, small business forms and related information.
From the homepage you can browse business topics or business types, or use the glossary to look up unfamiliar business terms.
Search results are broken down into content types. If you’re looking for a specific type of content such as a business plan or website, you can select the content type from the list and view only those results from the sidebar on the right.
You can also limit your search by date, subject, document type, publication title and more.
This takes you to the bottom of the page where you can browse other resources related to your search using the left and right arrows.
If you find that you need more help using Small Business Resource Center, click on the “More” drop down menu in the upper-right corner, then choose “help.”
Note: Help results are determined by your location on the site.
