As part of our design process, we surveyed students who have completed the modules to assess impact. Here are some highlights of the feedback for Module 1: Information Gathering (from a sample of 98 participants):

• 82.7% of the student respondents strongly agreed or agreed that “This module improved my skills in performing university- level research.”
• 80.1% of the student respondents strongly agreed or agreed that “This module increased my confidence in preparing to transition to the workplace after graduation.”
• 74.6% of the student respondents strongly agreed or agreed “I would recommend this module to a peer.”

Here are some selected comments from the survey responses:

• “I will use these methods not only throughout this project but my through my transition into the workplace.”
• “I will be able to apply this content when I return to my job at Cummins following my graduation.”
• “I like how the module is set up. I like that I can share the badge that I earned in this module on other platforms. I wish there were more modules like this that were more openly shared with students. I did not know that modules like this existed before today.”
